• Prepare a raw material with moisture content about 15% (spray it
with water when it is too dry).
• Turn on the machine.
• Put the prepared raw material mix gradually to the loading hopper.
• Reuse that material again and proceed that process for about 1,5-2
hours.
• If the die holes get restricted, stop the machine and clean the holes
with a wooden or plastic knitting needle (or similar item that will not
damage the die surface). After cleaning You can continue the
process.
CAUTION: the run-in process product isn’t suitable for feeding of
animals.
o) Adjust the gap between the pressure roller and the die each time they
have been changed or cleaned. Also adjust them – when needed – during
pellet production. To do it tighten both bolts show on the picture below:
Than loosen them equally about 90
o
in each step as needed to reach the
desired pellet quality.
IMPORTANT: do not run the pressure rollers overtighten – it can damage
not only the roller but also the die!
p) Check the gearbox fluid level and grease the die monthly. If needed add
a proper amount of the right gear fluid through the dipstick hole (2). Also
grease regularly the die through greasing points (3).
