• Instal and center the granulation chamber body with the pressure
roller.
• Reinstall the 4 bolts fixing the granulation chamber in cross-pattern
and tight them gradually.
• Reinstall the loading hopper.
• Turn on the machine and let it idling for 1-2 minutes.
• Adjust the gap (play) and proceed the run-in process of the roller
and die if new ones had been installed or never used together.
To change the die:
• Remove the granulation chamber as described earlier.
• Unscrew the central bolt fixing the die with the shaft.
• Screw in 2 support bolts in die threaded holes and then carefully
take the die from the gear shaft.
• Install a new or different die on the gear by aligning the fixing hole in
the die with the hole in the gear.
CAUTION: if the die holes are chamfered, they must be facing up.
• Screw the die holding bolt with nut and tighten them securely.
• Reinstall the granulation chamber body as described above.
• Turn on the machine and let it idling for 1-2 minutes.
• Adjust the gap (play) between the roller and the die and proceed the
run-in process if new die has been installed or never used together
with this roller.
n) It is obligatory to run-in the pressure roller or die (or both) each time
after installing a new ones or when installing a pair that never been
working together. A run-in process reduces energy use, components
wear and allows reaching the right operation temperature. To carry out
