• NOTE: If the brush is blocked or forced, it will stop and start rotating in reverse direction after few
seconds. If same blocking continues in the opposite direction too, then it will rotate in other direction
again.
Maintenance
a) After using the machine, shut down the power if necessary – e.g. the cows are no longer in the building
during the spring/summer and autumn months.
b) Unplug the mains plug and allow the rotating elements to completely stop before each cleaning,
adjustment or replacement of accessories, or if the device is not being used.
c) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
d) Do not allow water to get inside the device through vents in the housing of the device.
e) The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
f) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
g) If removing the machine for repairs/cleaning it should be carefully washed. The brushes should be
removed and pressure washed to clean any build-up of dirt/hair. The rest of the machine should be
wiped clean or washed carefully, due to the electrical nature of the device (avoid pressure washing any
decals/safety stickers as any damaged/missing stickers must be replaced).
h) When washing the machine ensure that the washings containing slurry/hard lumps do not enter
watercourses and are managed according to local rules and regulations.
Disposing of used devices
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems. Hand it over to an electric and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product, instruction manual and packaging. The plastics used to
construct the device can be recycled in accordance with their markings. By choosing to recycle you are making a
significant contribution to the protection of our environment.
