Position the temperature sensor between the heating elements in the small hole on the outlet
sleeve surface.
• Topping up the oil: Before using for the first time, add oil in accordance with the "Lubrication" guidelines
in the "Cleaning and maintenance" section.
CAUTION! The machine is delivered without lubricating oil. Top up with oil before the first use,
otherwise the unit may be damaged.
3.4. Working with the device
Before starting:
• Mechanical check: Rotate the pulley by hand to make sure that there are no jams.
• Tank inspection: Make sure the tank is empty. Always engage reverse gear for one minute before
shutting down the machine.
• Checking the lubrication points: Lubricate all points that require this operation every three months.
• Electrical installation: Tighten all connecting screws, including the three upper screws inside the heater
and the electrical components and power cables. Check that the supply voltage is correct.
• Start-up: When starting production, the temperature of the heating muffle must reach 350 °C. You
should start with the minimum amount of material to be processed and gradually increase the amount.
Start-up process:
1) Starting the machine: Start the machine and leave it unloaded for 5 minutes. Monitor the operation to
make sure that there are no abnormalities such as blockages or collisions.
2) Temperature control: Set the temperature controller to the desired value and wait for the machine to
reach the set temperature before starting to feed the material (first heat the machine to 350 °C, then
adjust the temperature depending on the production results).
3) Start of production: Start by feeding a minimum amount of material and gradually increase the amount.
If the first 30 minutes of production are successful, you can start regular production.
Precautions during production:
• Monitoring of operating parameters: Monitor the motor current and voltage to prevent damage.
• Reaction to jams: If the worm shaft does not rotate, stop the machine immediately. Once the material
has been removed from the tank and the reverse gear has been active for one minute, continue heating.
Restart the machine at a temperature 20 °C higher than the initial temperature.
• Safe placement of the machine: Make sure that the machine is in a stable position and secured. Do not
stand in front of the discharge opening during operation.
