3.3 ZEROING
Zeroing corrects the influence of slight soiling on the load plate
Setting to Zero Manually
1. Unload weighing platform.
2. Press .The zero display appears.
Automatic Zeroing Maintenance (AZM)
Automatic Zero Maintenance (AZM) enables the display to reset to the center of zero in order to
compensate for conditions such as terminal or load cell drift or debris on a scale platform. The AZM
operating range is selectable from 0.5, 1, 3 or 10 divisions. Within the configured range, when the
terminal is in a no motion condition, AZM makes small adjustments to the current zero reading to drive
the weight reading toward the true center-of-zero.
3.4 SIMPLE WEIGHING
1. Press and hold until –OFF- is displayed.
2. Wait until the motion indicator goes out.
3. Read weighing result.
3.5 WEIGHING WITH TARE
Taring
Place the empty container on the weighing platform and press .
Clearing the Tare
Press .
The Net indicator goes out, the gross weight appears in the display.
Automatic Tare
The display can be configured so that tare is taken automatically by enabling auto tare. With auto tare
enabled, the display changes to a zero net weight indication after the weight exceeds a set tare threshold
value.
Printing/Transferring Data:
Press .
The display contents are printed out or transferred to a computer.
Note: The display contents will not be printed or transferred if the scale is in motion.
3.6 NOTES ON BATTERY
The amount of time the display will operate on a fully charged battery will depend on the number of load cells
connected and the use of the backlight. The battery status icon indicates the amount of power remaining.
