Connecting the spray gun (Fig. A)
Insert the connector (2) of the spray gun (1)
into the quick coupler on the air hose. When
pushing, the connector clicks into place to
secure the spray gun (1).
Disconnecting the spray gun (Fig. A)
When releasing the quick coupler, be sure to hold
the coupling to protect yourself from injury from
the rebounding hose.
Pull back the sleeve on the quick coupler and
remove the tool.
Warning: Make sure to disconnect the spray gun
from the air supply before adjusting or maintaining
the spray gun.
Replacing the fi lter (Fig. B)
Replacement fi lters are not included, these can be
ordered separately. (Article number: SG812AA).
Unscrew the paint cup (15) from the spray gun (1).
Take out the fi lter (7).
Put in a new fi lter (7).
Put the fi lter back into the spray gun (1) and
screw in and tighten the paint cup (15).
4. OPERATION
PAINT PREPARATION
Check/test the viscosity of the to be sprayed
material. Using the viscosity cup (8).
Step 2: Preparing the spray surface
Cover the area around the to be sprayed area
thoroughly and over a wide area. Any surface
that is not covered properly can unintentionally
be sprayed.
Warning! Be aware of your surroundings when
spraying outside, wind can cause unintentional
spraying of your not covered surroundings
The spray surface needs to be clean, dry, and
free from grease or dust.
Polished surfaces should be lightly sanded, and
the sanding dust removed.
Step 3: Filling the paint container
Remove the paint cup (15) from the Spray unit.
Fill the container with to be sprayed material to
a maximum of 600ml.
Step 4: Test and adjust the spray jet effect, spray
volume and spray fl ow. (Fig. A and Fig. B)
Note: Before starting to spray the work surface, it
is advisable to make an initial test by spraying a
small area on scrap material.
Tip! With low-viscosity use the smaller nozzle and
with high-viscosity use the bigger nozzle.
