System Setup
TV System - Sets the video output format for different
regions.
NTSC - US, ASIA
PAL60 - Europe
PAL - Europe
AUTO - Automatically detects format
Auto Play - Sets the disc play options.
ON - A disc will play when inserted
OFF - A disc will only play when the play button is
pressed
Video
- Sets video output modes for the component and
S-Video outputs for compatibility with various TVs. See
your TV instruction manual to determine which setting
is needed.
INTERLACE-YUV - Sets component output to YUV
TV-RGB - Sets component output to RGB
P-SCAN YPBPR - Sets component output to YPBPR
PC-VGA - Not supported on this model
S-VIDEO - Sets output to the S-VIDEO jack on the rear
panel
TV Type
- Sets the aspect ratio for compatibility with
various TV types. See your TV instruction manual to
determine which setting is best.
4:3PS - Standard Pan and Scan
4:3LB - Standard with letterbox
16:9 - Widescreen
Password
- Sets the numeric password. Use the
number pad to enter a password. Then press the enter
button to set it. To unlock, enter the password using
the number pad and then press enter.
The factory default password is 0000.
Rating - Sets the viewing permissions. This can only be
changed if the password icon is set to unlock.
Default - This setting will change all the system setup
options back to their default factory settings.
RESTORE - Restores default factory settings
Resume - Sets the disc playback resume options.
ON - Begins playback of a disc from the last point it
was stopped
OFF - Begins playback at the beginning of the disc
Language Setup
Osd Language - Sets the lanuage of the on-screen
display.

Audio Language - Sets the Audio language for DVDs.
NOTE: Not all DVDs have multiple languages.
Subtitle Lang - Sets the language of the subtitles for
DVDs.

Menu Lang - Sets the language for the DVD menu.
NOTE: Not all DVDs have multiple language menus.
