Remedy
• No microphone output
• Press the Karaoke On/Off button
Symptom Cause
• Karaoke mode is not enabled
• Check microphone cable connection
and replace if necessary
• Microphone is not connected
properly
• Incorrect microphone type is
being used
• Ensure a dynamic microphone is
connected, or if a condenser
microphone is being used, it must
have a functioning battery
powered cartridge
• Microphone output is low or
distorted
• Replace microphone cable• Microphone cable is defective
• If using a condenser
microphone with a battery
powered cartridge, the
battery needs replacement
• Replace the condenser microphone
cartridge's battery with a new one
• Only get microphone output
from center speaker
• Set the Ch. Mode to L/R channels• Ch. Mode is set to Center
speaker
• Digital key control sounds
unnatural
• Reduce the Digital Key Control
setting until the music
sounds natural
• Chosen music cannot be
Digitally Key Controlled to the
chosen setting
• Digital Echo, Repeat and
Delay setting are set too high
• Microphone is too close to or
pointed directly at speakers
• Reduce the Digital Echo, Repeat
and Delay settings or disable
Digital Echo
• Reduce the Treble level for the
selected microphone channel
• Digital echo interferes with
vocals
• Increase speakers to microphone
distance and refrain from pointing the
microphone directly at the speakers
• Treble level for the selected
microphone channel is
set too high
• Digital Echo and DSP modes
being used simultaneously
need to be reduced
• Reduce the Digital Echo or change
DSP mode to a lesser effect mode
• Excessive feedback from
microphones
• Microphone volume is turned
to zero
• Turn selected microphone channel
volume up
