INTENDED USE
■ The heated underblanket (device) is
intended to be used to warm the body,
and is designed for relaxation. It can
be used to preheat the bed before
bedtime. It has no therapeutic function
and is not a replacement for medically
required treatment.
■ Do not use on a waterbed.
■ The device is for personal use only
and is not intended for commercial
applications.
■ Use the device only for the intend-
ed purpose and as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use
is deemed to be improper.
■ The warranty excludes any defects
caused by improper use, failure to
follow the care instructions, damage or
attempted repairs. The same applies
to normal wear and tear.
SAFETY NOTICES
Children younger than three years of age must not use
this device as they are unable to react to overheating.
■ The device can be used by children older than 3 years and
younger than 8 years with supervision when the control is set
to the minimum temperature value.
■ This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from this. Children
must not play with the device. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
■ The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to
heat and may not be used by other vulnerable people who are
unable to react to overheating.
■ The device is not intended for use in hospitals.
■ Do not use the device on an adjustable bed or before any use
on an adjustable bed check that the heated underblanket and
the cables are not trapped or pushed together in hinges, for
example.
■ The device must not be used wet. It must be completely dry
before it is used.
