Food storage
> Food must be stored in closed containers or
properly packaged and must not emit or absorb
odours and humidity.
> Follow the recommendations regarding storage
times and temperatures given in the table below.
10.3. Tips for food storage
Temperatures
The appliance working temperatures are set at
the recommended degrees of +41°F (+5°C) for the
refrigerator, 32°F (0°C) for Fresco drawers and 0°F
(-18°C) for the freezer.
Food arrangement
Refrigerator compartment door bins:
> Keep eggs, butter, cheese etc. in the upper and
central parts.
> Keep drinks, bottles, cans etc. in the lower part.
Refrigerator compartment:
> Keep preserves, wine, biscuits etc. in the upper
part.
> Keep dairy products, pre-prepared foods,
pastries, fruit juices, beer, etc. in the central part.
Upper drawer
> Keep fresh fruit, tropical food, vegetables, car
-
rots, potatoes, onions... Lower drawer
> Keep meats, cold cuts etc...
Freezer compartment
We recommend you use the rear part of the upper
basket for rapid freezing of products with the follow
-
ing indications:
> Use small packs and if possible already cold.
> The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen at
the same time is described on the characteristic
plate positioned in the cell.
> Use special freezing bags, aluminium foil, food
grade polyethylene film and freezing containers.
> Do not use paper bags, cellophane bags not for
food use, shopping bags or bags for freezing that
have already been used.
> Prevent frozen food coming into contact with
fresh food to be frozen.
