- Reset CVs 51 – 53 to factory settings.
- Traction tyre defective or oil-contaminated.
The train does not start the working mode in analogue operation.
- The machine solely works in DC mode using analogue technology.
- The transformer voltage is insucient.
Direct current transformers have their zero crossing point at the midpoint and are adjustable in both directions (forward/
reverse).
Working mode is active but the tamping unit does not work.
- Check if F14 is active. With F14 you switch to the manual working mode (see chapter 4.5.1.2).
9. Spare parts
The tamping machine is a mechanically and electrically high complex product. Replacing individual parts or subassem-
blies is only possible to a limited degree. It is not permitted to open the train by removing the housing etc. This will cause
loss of warranty (exceptions: gearbox covers and roof section for pantograph adjustment).
The available spare parts are divided into subassemblies. We can only supply the parts as stated in our spare parts list.
If you need a spare part you must rst declare the spare part group which contains the particular part.
9.1 Spare parts list and ordering of spare parts
For a list of available spare parts for the track tamping machine, see table 7 on page 28.
10. Warranty
Each model has been tested as to its full functionality prior to delivery. The warranty period is 2 years starting on the date
of purchase. Should a fault occur during this period please contact our service department (service@viessmann-modell.
com). Please send the item to the Viessmann service department for check and repair only after consultation. If we nd a
material or production fault to be the cause of the failure the item will be repaired free of charge or replaced. Expressively
excluded from any warranty claims and liability are damages of the item and consequential damages due to inappropri-
ate handling, disregarding the instructions of this manual, inappropriate use of the model, unauthorized disassembling,
construction modications and use of force, overheating and similar.
