NATIONAL STANDARDS
This product is a special purpose, single or sectional, portable metal ladder (PML). ANSI standard A14.2
(the “Standard”) applies to PML’s. You should acquire a copy of the latest revision of the Standard. Follow
all relevant provisions in the Standard including the use, inspection, and maintenance/care instructions. If
any content in this manual conflicts with any mandatory provision(s) in the Standard, apply the
provision(s) from the Standard. Vestil requests that you report these conflicts to its TECHNICAL SERVICE &
PARTS DEPARTMENT as soon as they are discovered.
EXPLODED VIEW AND BILL OF MATERIALS (23-006-388 & 23-006-389)
ASSEMBLING THE LADDER (NTAL-10, -12, & -15 MODELS)
Fasten upper and lower ladder sections together with hex bolts (11105) and lock nuts (37024).
1. Lay both sections on the ground and orient them with rungs facing upwards.
2. Press the extension brackets (lower ladder section) into the openings in the side rails of the upper ladder
section.
3. Align the bolt holes in the rung brackets with the holes in the extension brackets. The extension brackets
will contact the inside surfaces of the rung brackets.
4. Feed a bolt (item no. 4) through each of the aligned bolt holes. Secure the free end of each bolt with a
hex nut.
