end of the strand of hair. Keep your
hair smooth through the section while
holding the ends tout with one hand.
• Wrap the strand of hair around the
tongs towards your head. After 5 to
10 seconds, open the clips and pull
the tongs off your hair. If you have
wrapped one strand outwards, we
recommend that you wrap the other
strands outwards as well. In this way,
your hair will gain shape in the same
direction.
• After use, turn off the appliance by
pressing and holding the On/Off
button for about 2 seconds. The LCD
screen light turns off and only the On/
Off Button light remains on.
• Unplug the appliance. The light of the
On/Off Button also turns off.

Maintenance
• Switch off the appliance, unplug from
the power supply and allow it to cool
fully.
• Wipe over the casing and the
appliance using a soft damp cloth
(moistened only with water).
• Do not immerse the appliance in water
or any other liquid.
• Ensure the appliance is dried
thoroughly with a soft towel before
reusing.
• Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
• NOTE: Always allow the appliance to
cool on a flat, heat resistant surface.
Storage
• Ensure the tong is completely cold
and dry.
• Do not wrap the power cord around
the appliance.
• Store in original box in a cool, dry safe
place out of the reach of children.

When you notice an abnormal situation
in your appliance, you may attempt to
troubleshoot according to the following

Problem Cause Solution
The appliance is
not operating.
Power plug may not be
properly connected.
Plug it firmly.
No power at the outlet. Check the fuse or power switch.
The device is turned off. Press the On/Off button.
Unable to adjust
the temperature.
Check if the lock symbol
appears on the LCD screen.
If there is a lock symbol on the
LCD screen, press the function
lock button. The lock symbol will
disappear and the temperature can
now be adjusted.
