• Plug the appliance into a suitable
outlet. The signal is heard. Turn it on
by pressing the Touch On/Off Button,
the LCD screen light will come on, the
signal will be heard again. When it is
first turned on, the number 130 will
appear on the screen by heating up

remain constant.
• When interrupted or not in use, push
the metal stand forward and place
the appliance on the heat-resistant
surface by placing it on the metal
stand.
• WARNING: The appliance
automatically turns itself off after 60
minutes of inactivity.
• NOTE: An audible signal is heard each
time the buttons are pressed.

Function Lock Button
• Press the Function Lock button to lock
the Increase/Decrease Temperature
Button, the Touch On/Off Button. On
the LCD screen, the lock symbol will be
displayed next to the temperature.
• The temperature during use can not
be changed.
• Press the Function Lock Button to
remove the lock. The lock symbol will
disappear.
• After deactivating the Function Lock
Button, a new temperature level can
be selected or the appliance can be
turned off with the On/Off button.
Curling Wand
• First, separate a strand of about 3 cm
of your hair with the help of a comb
or brush. Make sure that the strand
and the tip that you have separated
are smooth.
• Wing the curl toward your scalp as far
as you can go without touching the
scalp with the hot barrel.
