1 tbsp. of poppy seed (optional)
Method
Mix dry yeast and all-purpose flour. Add the
rest of the ingredients and knead until dough is
smooth, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes.
Put the dough in another bowl and cover
with cling film. Let the dough rise at room
temperature for 1 hour.
Cut the dough into pieces the size of a fist and
roll the pieces. Place a piece of baking paper
on baking sheet and put the dough balls on
it. Lay a damp cloth onto the pieces. Keep the
baking sheet out of the oven for about 30-40
minutes.
Set the switch and thermostat settings of the
oven to the relevant position, preheat for
about 5 minutes, remove the cloth and place
the baking sheet to the 3rd rack of the oven.
Bake for 18-20 minutes and then enjoy your
homemade bread.

Yoghurt Function of the Oven
Your oven is fitted with features that
allow you to make your own yoghurt. Details
for making yoghurt are given below.
Oven setting: For this function, you need
to set the function and thermostat buttons
of the oven to 'yoghurt' position as shown
below. This way, the oven will keep the ideal
temperature for the yoghurt to be fermented.
Preparing the milk: The temperature for the
milk to be fermented must be nearly 40-500C,
i.e. when you check it with your finger, it must
not burn your hand nor be too cold. Loose milk
must be boiled first. Packaged milk does not
need boiling. The quality of the milk and the
ideal temperature for fermenting will directly
affect the quality of the yoghurt. For this
reason, you must pay attention to the milk's
quality and the ideal temperature.
Fermenting the milk: When the milk is at ideal
temperature, ferment it with 1 or 2 tablespoons
of yoghurt. It is recommended that the yoghurt
is not too cold when fermenting. For this, put
the yoghurt in a small pot and dilute it with
one or two tablespoons of milk you take from
the heated milk. When this mixture comes to
proper consistency, pour it into the milk pot
and distribute it without stirring too much.
If you want to sweeten the yoghurt, you can
add 1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar. Plus, you can
add some milk powder for thickening.
Fermenting: To complete the fermenting
process of the milk that has been heated to
40-500C and fermented, put it into the set and
preheated oven that is at ideal tem perature.
Keep it in the oven for 5 hours for it to be
fermented. For time tracking, you can use the
"timer" function of your oven. Please see the
user manual for timer setting.
Waiting: After fermenting, take the milk out of
the oven, wait for it to set outside for a while
and then put it in the refrigerator for about 12
hours for thickening.
As is the case in every recipe, when making
yoghurt, you can find the best method for
yourself by using the reference informa-tion
given above, along with the effect of the
ingredients used.
