PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF COLLET SLEEVE CAP
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
Press and hold the spindle lock button (7) to prevent spindle rotation.
Turn the collet sleeve cap (1), so the spindle lock button (7) gets into
groove in the shaft.
Unscrew the collet sleeve cap (1) (if needed, use special key) (g. A).
Installation of the collet sleeve cap is similar to removal, only the
sequence of actions is reversed.
REPLACEMENT OF COLLET SLEEVE
Always use appropriate collet sleeve that matches working tool
shaft that you plan to use. Do not try to force working tool shaft of a
given diameter into a smaller collet sleeve.
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
Remove the collet sleeve cap (1).
Remove the collet sleeve (a) by pulling it from the spindle (8) (g. B).
Install collet sleeve of appropriate size.
Tighten the collet sleeve cap (1).
Do not screw the collet sleeve cap tight without working tool
inserted.
REPLACEMENT OF WORKING TOOLS
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any
maintenance activities or replacement of working tools or collet sleeve.
Loosen the collet sleeve cap (1).
Insert working tool shaft into the collet sleeve so it cannot slip o
during operation (g. C).
With spindle lock button (7) pressed, screw the collet sleeve cap (1) so
the collet sleeve tightens rmly on the working tool shaft (g. D).
Spindle lock button can be used only for working tool installation
or removal. It cannot be used as a brake-button when the spindle
of the tool is rotating.
The minigrinder is designed to operate with exible drive shaft or three-
jaw drill chuck.

DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON SAFE USE OF THE MINIGRINDER
Hold the minigrinder by insulated handle, especially when there
is a risk during operation of contact of the power tool with hidden
electrical conductor.
Choose accessories appropriate for rotational speed of the spindle.
Grinding disc or other accessories that rotate with excessive rotational
speed may break o and cause operator personal injuries.
Do not use exible drive shaft when it is bended too much. Too tight
bend may cause overheating of exible casing.
Disconnect the minigrinder from power supply network before
starting any adjustment or accessories replacement. Doing otherwise
may lead to unexpected body injury.
Always use goggles or anti-splinter glasses and face mask. Use of
personal safety equipment and keeping the working area safe reduce
the risk of body injury.
Pay attention to location of the switch button when putting the
tool away or gripping it to start working. Avoid any possibility of
unintentional starting the tool spindle.
When starting the minigrinder always hold the tool rmly by its
handle. Reaction moment of the motor at the time of bringing spindle
to its maximum no-load speed may cause the tool to tend to rotate.
After any adjustment or working bit replacement ensure the collet
and other elements for tool control are properly tightened. Any slack
between those elements may cause loss of control over the tool, and
loosely xed rotating parts may be forcibly projected.
Prior to using the minigrinder with a brush wait for the brush to rotate
for one minute with no load. During this period nobody should be in
front of the brush or in its plane of rotation. This is when loose wire
pieces fall out of the brush.
Proceed with care with the minigrinder and grinding stones as well to
avoid potential crumbing or cracking. If the minigrinder is accidentally
dropped during its operation, always replace grinding stone. Do not
use grinding stones, which may be damaged. Proceed carefully with
sharp tips. Damaged working tips may break o during operation.
Dull tips require greater pressure of the tool against processed
material, this may cause cracking of the tip.
Never start the minigrinder when the tip is in contact with processed
material. Cutting edge of the tip may jam in the material, it may cause
loss of control over the tool.
Never leave the minigrinder switched on without any supervision.
Disconnect the power supply rst. You can put the minigrinder away
only after the spindle stops rotating.
Do not touch the working tool (stone or tip) just after nishing
operation. Those elements heat up very much during operation.
Clean the ventilation holes of the tool with jet of compressed air on
a regular basis. Excessive accumulation of metal le dust inside the
motor casing may cause electrical faults.
Do not use inappropriate working tools in cooperation with the
minigrinder. Any attempt of unauthorized power tool modication
may cause serious body injuries.
When using steel saws, cutting stones, high-speed cutters, or
diamond cutters the processed material should always be rmly xed.
Never hold the processed material with your hand when working with
above mentioned working tools.
CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always a
small risk of operational injuries.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Minigrinder is a hand-operated power tool with insulation class II.
The tool is driven by single-phase commutator motor. Minigrinder
