User Interface

The LSS-200 has an internal web server that provides the user interface. This section reviews the operational screens, while later sections review

the conﬁguration and calibration screens

Home Screen

The LSS-200 home screen is shown in Figure 1. This screen normally shows the luminance and chromaticity of the image currently projected on

the screen plus the current SPL. The contents of the page are conﬁgurable as to what information is shown in the left table of light values. The right

table shows the current C-weighted sound pressure level. Reference columns may be added to each table to make easy comparisons. Reference

columns are added using the conﬁguration screen. When the home screen includes light or sound reference columns, clicking on the header for

that column copies the current values to the reference column.

The home screen also shows the current chromaticity on the CIE 1931 chromaticity space. The current chromaticity is shown as a small circle.

Reference white, as speciﬁed by SMPTE ST 431-1 is shown by a small cross. The graph also shows the wavelength of a monochromatic light

source that corresponds to the colors around the border.

The home page also includes information that identiﬁes the auditorium the LSS-200 is placed in. This information is entered through the

conﬁguration screens during installation.

The LSS-200 uses automated scripts to perform measurements in synchronization with the playback of a test show. The home page shows which

script, if any, is currently running. The ﬁrst script is script number 0.

Finally, the home page has links to other pages where the log can be viewed, where audio/video synchronization can be viewed, and where the

system can be conﬁgured.
