TCP_Send Command Usage
The tcp send command allows a user to have the LSS relay TCP strings to other devices by having the command embedded within a script. The
usage of this command is shown below:
lss.sys.tcp_send_string|address|port|string
Example:
lss.sys.tcp_send_string|192.168.1.123|10001|jsd60.sys.fader\t700\r
The example command tells a JSD-60 (located at 192.168.1.123, port 10001) to set its main fader to 7.00.
Allowed escape codes are:
\\ = backslash
\t = tab
\n = newline
\r = carriage return
\a = alarm (bell)
\f = form feed
\v = vertical tab
\b = backspace
Dolby® CP850 Control
The LSS-200 is capable of integration with a Dolby® CP850 Cinema Processor to check individual speakers in a Dolby ATMOS® installation.
The command below causes the LSS-200 to send a command to the CP850 at the specified address (192.168.1.146 in the example) to send pink
noise to a specified speaker (speaker 0 in the example).
lss.sys.cp850_test_start|0|192.168.1.146
After a test start command has been sent to a specific CP850, additional test_start commands do not need to include the IP address. These
commands will use the IP address of the last CP850.
The command below causes the LSS-200 to send a command to the CP850 stopping the test. The IP address specified in the last cp850_test_
start is used.
lss.sys.cp_850_test_stop
A portion of a sample test script is shown below. A particular speaker is selected, the LSS-200 is given time for the SPL reading to stabilize, the
reading captured, then the next speaker is selected.
