e) Check grinding wheels before each use. Grinding wheels should
be properly fixed and should allow for free movement. Carry
out a no load test run at its maximum speed for at least one
minute. Do not use damaged or vibrating grinding wheels.
Damaged grinding wheels can break resulting in serious injuries.
f) Children are not allowed to operate the device under any
circumstances.
g) Store the power tool and accessories safely when it is not in use.
The storage location must be dry and lockable. This prevents the power tool
from storage damage, and from being operated by untrained
persons.
APPLICATIONS:
The bench grinder/sharpener is intended for dry rough and fine grinding of
metals, plastics and other materials provided appropriate grinding wheel is
used.
The tool is designed for minor grinding jobs such as: processing and
sharpening knives, scissors, drill bits, wood and stone chisels, cold chisels
etc.
It is absolutely prohibited to use the tool in other applications.
Despite using the tool according to its intended application it is impossible
to eliminate certain residual risk factors. Considering the tool construction
the following risks may occur when operating the tool:
- Touching the abrasive wheel in its unguarded area.
- Throwing back grinding wheel parts by centrifugal force.
- Throwing back machined object or its fragment.
- Hearing loss if no necessary hearing protection is used.
- Cracking/breaking the grinding wheel.
- Harmful dust emission when dry grinding indoors.

CONSTRUCTION:
The bench grinding/sharpening machine is driven by a single-phase electric
motor and is a Class I device – wall outlets and extension cables should be
equipped with an earthing conductor/terminal.
Its construction is shown in Fig. A-D on p. 2-3:

SPECIFICATIONS:
S2 30 min – interrupted operation, rated operation time 30 min.
NOTE! After 30 minutes of constant load operation stop using the machine
and allow it to cool down completely.
The declared total vibrations and declared noise emissions were measured
in accordance with a standard test method and may be used for tool
comparison.
The declared total vibrations and noise emissions can be used in preliminary
exposure assessment.
Warnings:
The vibrations and noise emissions during the actual use of the power tool
may differ from the declared values depending on how the tool is used and
on the type of the workpiece in particular.
Determine safeguards to protect the operator. They should be based on the
estimated exposure under actual operational conditions (taking into
account all parts of the operating cycle such as when the tool is switched off
or idle except the start time).
The noise level when working can exceed the volume stated. Wear hearing
protection! The noise emission value given in these instructions has been
measured in accordance with a standardised measuring in procedure and
may be used to compare power tools. It may also be used for a preliminary
estimation of noise emissions. The noise emission value given represents
