Switching the device on
1. Once you have completely installed the device as
described in the Start-up chapter, you can switch it on.
2. Press the on/offbutton(30)to switch the device on.
ð The device switches on.
3. Select the desired operating mode.
Setting the operating mode
The device has the following operating modes:
• Cooling
• Ventilation
• Dehumidification

The temperature is set to 22°C by default.
Info
Press the Decrease valuebutton(22) and Increase
valuebutton(28) simultaneously to switch between the
temperature units °C and °F.
Cooling
In cooling mode the room will be cooled down to a desired
target temperature.
1. Press the Operating mode button(29) repeatedly until the
Cooling LED(26) is illuminated.
2. Press the Decrease valuebutton(22) or Increase
valuebutton(28) to set the desired target temperature.
3. Use the Fan speedbutton(21) to select fan stage 1 or 2.
ð The Fan stage1LED(23) or Fan stage2LED(34) is
illuminated.
ð The target temperature is indicated on the segment
display(25).
Ventilation
In Ventilation mode the room air is circulated, it will neither be
cooled nor dehumidified.
1. Press the Operating mode button(29) repeatedly until the
VentilationLED(27) is illuminated.
2. Press the Fan speedbutton(21) to switch between fan
stage 1 and 2.
ð The Fan stage1LED(23) or Fan stage2LED(34) is
illuminated.
Dehumidification
In Dehumidification mode the humidity level in the room is
reduced.
1. Press the Operating mode button(29) until the
DehumidificationLED(32) on the device is illuminated.
ð The internal unit draws humidity from the room air,
which is then transported to the external unit by the
condensate pump.
Notice
If required, connect the condensation drain hose to the
condensate outlet(4) (see Maintenance chapter -
Draining the condensate).
Setting the timer
The timer function switches the device on or off after the set
time has elapsed.
The time can be set in increments of 1hour (1h to 24h).
ü Automatic switch-on: The device is in standby mode.
ü Automatic switch-off: The device is switched on.
1. Press the Operating mode button(29) for 3seconds until
the TimerLED(24) is illuminated.
ð The segment display shows the number1 (for 1hour).
2. Set the desired number of hours by use of the Increase
value(28) and Decrease value(22) buttons.
ð The segment display(14) indicates the period of time in
increments of 1hour until automatic switch-on/ switch-off.
ð The timer setting equals the desired number of hours.
ð The TimerLED(24) is illuminated as long as the timer is
active.
ð After the predefined time, the device switches itself on or
off.
ð Setting the number of hours to0 switches the timer
function off.
ð If the device is disconnected from the power supply, all
settings for automatic switch-on/switch-off are deleted.
