ATTENTION
► Never connect the device without charging your
mobile phone! The device also consumes power
in standby mode and therefore must be discon-
nected from the on-board power supply after
use! If the motor is not running the battery will
otherwise be discharged.

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out
wheelie bin means that this device is
subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This
directive states that this device may not be
disposed of in normal household waste at the end of
its useful life, but must be brought to a specially set-up
collection point, recycling depot or disposal company.
This disposal is free of charge for the user.

Intended use
The car charger adapter is a car accessory that is
compatible with the vehicle socket. It is designed
solely for charging mobile phones and 5 V devices
with a USB port. The car charger adapter is suitable
only for vehicles in which the negative terminal of the
battery is connected to the bodywork.
Any other use or usage beyond those mentioned is
considered improper use and can result in damages
and injuries. Claims of any kind for damages resulting
from improper use or unauthorised modifications will
not be considered. This product is intended for private
use only and not for commercial applications.

NOTE

The E marking is a test mark for the labelling
of components requiring approval in motor
vehicles and states that the necessary tests
have been carried out and that an ECE component
approval has been issued. The letters "xx" are
placeholders and stand for the country where the
licence was issued.
The Smart Fast Charge symbol indicates that
the technology used enables reduced
charging time for compatible devices.
Compatible connected devices automatically receive
a signal to draw the maximum available charging
current.
Safety instructions
■ Before use check the device for visible external
damage. Do not put into operation a device that
is damaged or has been dropped.
■ Damaged cables or connections should be replaced
by authorised qualified specialists or by the customer
service department.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid pen-
etration.
■ Never subject the device to extreme heat or humidity.
This applies especially when storing in a car. With
long periods of immobilisation car interiors and
glove boxes build up extreme heat levels. Remove
electrical and electronic devices from the car.
■ This device is not intended for use by persons (in-
cluding children) with restricted physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or
knowledge unless, of course, they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or obtain
from that person instructions on how the device is
to be used. Children should be supervised to make
sure that they do not play with the device.
■ DANGER! Do not allow children to play with
the packaging material! Keep all packaging mate-
rials away from children. Risk of suffocation!
■ DANGER! Some of the supplied parts can be
swallowed. If a part is swallowed, seek medical
advice as soon as possible.
■ Do not operate the appliance if you are driving
a car or other vehicle. This presents a source of
danger in road traffic.
■ When using the car charger, ensure that it does not
interfere with the steering, braking or the operation
of other vehicle systems (such as airbags) and does
not restrict your field of view when driving.
■ WARNING! Do not place the car charger
or the connection cable in or near the expansion
area of the airbag, since the charger could be
flung through the vehicle interior in the event of
airbag deployment and cause serious injuries.
■ If you notice a burning smell or smoke coming
from the device, disconnect it from the power sup-
ply immediately.
■ Never open the housing. Opening the housing will
invalidate the warranty.

Operation
Unpack the charging device and all adapters and look
for the adapter suitable for your mobile phone.
To charge an iPhone / iPod, use the original cable
with the USB port. First check to make sure that the
adapter fits.
NOTE
► Do not apply excessive force thus avoiding
damage to the connector. This also applies
when removing the connector.
♦ Now plug the charging device into the 12/24V
power socket of your car. As a rule this is the
cigarette lighter socket in the dashboard of your
car. Numerous vehicles have a second socket in
the rear seat area or in the boot. 24 Volt batteries
are used, primarily, in trucks or on boats.
♦ The white LED indicates that the charger is ready
for use. It also lights up when no mobile phone is
connected. Depending on the vehicle type it is pos-
sible that the ignition has to be switched on first. The
charging process begins immediately and is shown
in your mobile phone’s display.
♦ When charging is complete, disconnect the
charger from the 12/24V connection.

Der KFZ-Ladeadapter ist ein KFZ-Nachrüstteil zum
Anschluss an die Bordsteckdose und ist ausschließlich
zum Laden und zum Betrieb von Mobiltelefonen und
5V-Geräten mit USB-Anschluss bestimmt. Der KFZ-
Ladeadapter ist nur für Fahrzeuge geeignet, bei denen
der Minuspol der Batterie an der Karosserie liegt.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benut-
zung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu
Beschädigungen und Verletzungen führen. Ansprü-
che jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestim-
mungsgemäßer Verwendung oder eigenmächtiger
Umbauten sind ausgeschlossen. Dieses Produkt ist
ausschließlich für den privaten Gebrauch und nicht
für eine gewerbliche Nutzung bestimmt.

HINWEIS

Das E-Kennzeichen ist ein Prüfzeichen für die
Kennzeichnung von genehmigungspflichtigen
Bauteilen an Kraftfahrzeugen und besagt,
dass die erforderlichen Prüfungen durchgeführt wurden
und eine ECE-Bauartgenehmigung erteilt wurde.
Die Buchstaben „xx“ sind Platzhalter und stehen für
das Land, in dem die Zulassung ausgestellt wurde.
Das Smart Fast Charge- Symbol besagt,
dass durch die eingesetzte Technologie,
bei kompatiblen Geräten eine verringerte
Ladezeit möglich ist. Kompatiblen angeschlossenen
Geräten wird automatisch signalisiert, dass sie den
maximal nutzbaren Ladestrom verwenden.
Sicherheitshinweise
■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung
auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein
beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht
in Betrieb.
■ Bei Beschädigung des Kabels oder der Anschlüsse
lassen Sie diese von autorisiertem Fachpersonal
oder dem Kundenservice austauschen.
■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem
Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten.
■ Setzen Sie das Gerät nie extremer Hitze oder
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit aus. Dies gilt insbesondere
für eine Lagerung im Auto. Bei längeren Standzei-
ten entstehen extreme Temperaturen in Innenraum
und Handschuhfach. Entfernen Sie elektrische und
elektronische Geräte aus dem Fahrzeug.
■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Per-
sonen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten
physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkei-
ten oder mangels Erfahrung und / oder mangels
Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie
werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige
Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anwei-
sungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. Kinder
sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen,
dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■ GEFAHR! Verpackungsmaterialien sind kein Kin-
derspielzeug! Halten Sie alle Verpackungsmateri-
alien von Kindern fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
■ GEFAHR! Im Lieferumfang befinden sich ver-
schluckbare Kleinteile. Wurde ein Teil verschluckt,
konsultieren Sie sofort einen Arzt.
■ Bedienen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie ein Auto
oder ein anderes Fahrzeug lenken. Dies stellt eine
Gefahrenquelle im Straßenverkehr dar.
■ Stellen Sie bei der Verwendung des KFZ-Lade-
adapters sicher, dass dieser keine Behinderung beim
Steuern, Bremsen oder für die Einsatzfähigkeit an-
derer Betriebssysteme des Fahrzeugs (z. B. Airbags)
darstellt, oder Ihr Sichtfeld beim Fahren einschränkt.
■ WARNUNG! Platzieren Sie den KFZ-Lade-
adapter oder das Anschlusskabel nicht im
Entfaltungsbereich des Airbags oder in dessen
Nähe, da dieser den Ladestecker im Falle einer
Auslösung durch den Innenraum des Fahrzeuges
schleudern würde und schwere Verletzungen
verursachen kann.
■ Wenn Sie am Gerät Brandgeruch oder Rauchent-
wicklung feststellen, trennen Sie es sofort von der
Bordsteckdose.
■ Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse. Ein Öffnen des
Gehäuses führt zum Verlust der Garantieansprüche.
