Download TomTom app

All alerts are generated directly by the TomTom app. Therefore, it is necessary to install the

TomTom app on your smartphone. The app is available at no cost from both the Google Play

Store and the Apple App Store.

Minimum requirements:

Pairing Tom with the TomTom app requires Android 12 or higher, or iOS 18 or higher.

To get the most of Tom, it’s important the Bluetooth settings are set up properly.

Android (Android 12 or higher)

1.

Open Settings on the phone

2.

Go to Apps-> select TomTom

3.

Tap Permissions

4.

Select Location.

5.

Choose Allow all the time.

iOS (iOS 18 or higher)

1.

Open Settings on the phone

2.

Go Scroll down and select TomTom

3.

Tap Location.

4.

Under Allow Location Access, select Always.

Pairing Tom to TomTom app

1.

Open TomTom app on your smartphone

2.

In the menu, go to ‘I have a device’

3.

Tap the steps

4.

Note: to power on tom, press and hold the top button for 3 seconds.
