4.2 Suspending the speaker

For suspension of the speaker from special mounting devices (referred to as “trussing” in the

event technology business), the top of the housing of Achat 112 and Achat 115 MA MKII oers

built-in Aeroquip or y tracks. Safety eyelets (double studs) can be screwed or latched into

these tracks. The Achat 110 MA MKII oers M10 truss points for suspension.

Check that the speaker is securely connected to the respective suspension before using it in

“truss mode”.

Using an additional loop on the back of the box, it is possible to tilt the box. This additional

loop must not solely be in charge to secure the entire suspended weight.

4.3 Mounting bracket

Using the optional mounting brackets (U brackets) for vertical and horizontal mounting, the

speaker can stably and securely mounted to the wall, the ceiling or a pipe clamp (half coupler),

and, thus, secured to trusses.
