Notes on Disposal of Electric and

Electronic Components

Warning!

Not suitable for children under 3 years. Choking

hazard — small parts may be swallowed or

inhaled. Strangulation hazard — long cables

may become wrapped around the neck.

WARNING: This toy is only intended for use by

children over the age of 8 years due to

accessible electrical components. Instructions

for parents or caregivers are included and shall

be followed.

May only be operated when fully assembled.

Proper assembly must be checked by an adult

before use.

Safety for Experiments with

Batteries:

» To operate ths kt, you need three AAA batteres (15-volt,

type LR03), whch could not be ncluded n the kt due to

ther lmted shelf lfe Insertng, removng, and replacng

batteres should be done by an adult or under adult

supervson

» Avod a short crcut of the batteres A short crcut can

cause the wres to overheat and the batteres to explode

» Dfferent types of batteres (eg rechargeable battery and

non-rechargeable battery) or new and used batteres are

not to be mxed

» Do not mx old and new batteres

» Do not mx alkalne, standard (carbon-znc), or

rechargeable (nckel-cadmum) batteres

» Batteres are to be nserted wth the correct polarty (+

and -) Press them gently nto the battery compartment

(see page 5) Ths page also explans how to nsert,

remove, and change the batteres

» Non-rechargeable batteres are not to be recharged

Remove batteres from the devce (EMS) f t s not n use

for an extended perod

→ Before beginning the experiments, read through the

instructions along with your child, discuss the safety

notes, and keep them on hand for reference. Check

to make sure that the models have been assembled

properly, and be ready to help with the experiments.

→ Do not expose the toy to extreme heat or long

periods of direct sunlight; protect it from heavy,

persistent rain and frost.

→ When conducting experiments using the charging

and discharging module, please have an adult

inspect the experiment or model to ensure that

children have assembled it correctly.

→ This kit includes one charging and discharging

module (supercapacitor). You can charge the

charging and discharging module through this kit.

When operating, please be sure to do so under the

supervision of parents or adults, and follow the

instructions.
