Note: before using the device, make sure that the hot water/steam switch is set to the O
position and that the water container is lled with water.
1. Set the Main power switch to the I position.
2. Prior to coee brewing make sure the lter and lter holder is completely dry.
Using ground coee
1. Press the Coee brewing button. It starts to ash red. It is a normal operation- it indicates
that the device is preheating for coee brewing. When the ashing red light becomes
solid, the device is ready for making coee.
2. Make sure the lter pin is inserted into the lter holder.
3. Place the ground coee lter in the lter holder and push it until it locks in place.
4. Use the measuring spoon/tamper to ll ground coee into the ground coee lter.
5. Use the other side of the measuring spoon/tamper to tamp the coee so to achieve a
smooth and at surface of coee.
Notes:
• Make sure not to overll the lter.
• Wipe o any residues from the edge of the lter.
6. Grab the handle of the lter holder, insert the lter in the brewing unit from the bottom
and turn it right maximally so that it locks in place.
7. Place the cup on the drip tray under the lter (make sure it is placed exactly under the
coee dispensing hole).
8. Set the hot water/steam switch to the
position. Coee begins to ow.
9. When the cup is lled to the desired level, set the hot water/steam switch to the O
position and take out the cup.
Important! Coee will not stop owing until stopped manually!
10. Wait a few seconds after brewing, grab the handle of the lter holder and turn it left to
remove it.
Danger of burning! Do not touch any part of the device as it may be hot!
11. Empty the lter from the ground coee residues and rinse the lter and lter holder
under running water. Do it after each use!
Using pods
1. Press the Coee brewing button. It starts to ash red. When the ashing red light
becomes solid, the device is ready for making coee.
2. Make sure the lter pin is inserted into the lter holder.
3. Place the pod lter in the lter holder and push it until it locks in place.
4. Insert the E.S.E. pod into the lter.
Note: Make sure the coee pod is placed completely in the lter. Do not allow any of its
part to stick out of the lter.
5. Grab the handle of the lter holder, insert the lter in the brewing unit from the bottom
and turn it right maximally so that it locks in place.
6. Place the cup on the drip tray under the lter (make sure it is placed exactly under the
coee dispensing hole).
