pREpARATION fOR USE
Connection with the power mains
1. Locate the coee machine:
• out of the reach of children,
• away from water and heat sources,
• on a stable and at surface,
• near the power mains socket.
2. Before connecting the plug to the power mains socket make sure that the main power
switch is set to the O position.
3. Connect the plug to the power mains socket.
Filling the water container
Notes:
• To ll the water container, use only fresh, non-sparkling water.
• Never ll in other liquid.
• Do not use warm or hot water as this may damage the device.
• Do not turn on the device if the water container is empty.
1. Open the water container cover.
2. Grab the water container and pull it out.
3. Rinse it under running water.
4. Fill the water container with fresh water. Do not ll in less than MIN level and do not
exceed the MAX level.
5. Correctly reassemble the water container back into place.
6. Close the water container cover.
Preheating cups
When the coee machine is switched on, the cup warming tray is heated. It is recommended
to preheat the cup before you ll it with hot coee. Cold cup will decrease not only the
temperature of coee but also its aroma. You can do it in two ways:
1. Put a cup on the cup warming tray to preheat the cup.
• Make sure it is warm enough but not hot as it may result in scalding injuries.
2. Use steam function.
3. Use hot water function. Fill the cup with small amount of hot water and then pour it out.
