SETTING UP THE CAMERA
Charge the camera
The camera is shipped partially charged. For optimal performance, fully charge it with the included USB-C cable
before rst use. The LED indicator on the front of the camera lights solid blue during charging and turns off once
fully charged. Charging times may vary based on the USB power source and battery level.
Pair with the Base Station
Included in a kit?
The camera is already paired with the MaxRanger4K Base Station — no setup needed. It’s ready to use.
• Adding an extra camera? Follow these steps:
i. In the Swann Security app, go to Device Settings > Camera Status & Pairing.
ii. Tap Pair next to an available channel.
iii. Select MaxRanger4K Mini Camera and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.
Mount the camera
The camera can sit on a table or shelf, or be wall-mounted using the included stand. Its wire-free design offers
exible placement.To install the stand, loosen the locking screw and slide up to remove the mounting plate.
Secure the mounting plate to the wall with the UP arrow pointing up, then slide the stand back onto the plate and
tighten the locking screw. Attach the camera and adjust the viewing angle by loosening the adjustment ring.
