Creating the Processor Carrier Assembly
To create the processor carrier assembly, follow the steps below:
1. Ensure the lever on the processor carrier is pressed down and held by a latch on the
processor carrier as shown below.

2. Hold the processor with the LGA lands (gold contacts) facing down. Locate the small,
gold triangle in the corner of the processor and the corresponding hollowed triangle on
the processor carrier. These triangles indicate pin 1.
