3.7 Chassis Components

Nodes

The system includes ve removable computing nodes, each containing an individual

motherboard. The recommended method to shut down a node is by using the OS. Alternatively,

press and hold the power button for that node until the power button LED turns o󰀨.

Each node controls four storage drives and shares a fan with the node beside it. If a node

is removed from the chassis, the storage drives associated with that node will power-down.
