4.2 Power Connections

Main Power Connector

The proprietary main power header is PWR1.

Storage Drive Power Connectors

The proprietary 4-pin connector, HDD2_PWR, is connected to the AOM-SB1-SATA31 to

provide power to the HDD2.

4.3 Headers and Connectors

Fan Header

A 4-pin fan header (FAN1) is located on the motherboard. This fan header is reserved for

liquid cooling.

TPM Header

The JTPM1 header is used to connect a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)/Port 80, which

is available from Supermicro. A TPM/Port 80 connector is a security device that supports

encryption and authentication in hard drives. It allows the motherboard to deny access if the

TPM associated with the storage drive is not installed in the system.

The M2-1 connector is an M.2 slot for SSD storage. It is PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD in the 2280 form
