12.2 Battery
12.2.1
Turning the Bluetooth
®
Interface On
► Press and hold the push button for about
3 seconds.
If the Bluetooth
®
LED next to the connected
symbol glows blue for about 3 seconds, the
battery's Bluetooth
®
interface is on.
12.2.2
Turning the Bluetooth
®
Interface Off
► Press and hold the push button for about
3 seconds.
If the Bluetooth
®
LED flashes blue six times,
the Bluetooth
®
interface is off.
12.2.3 Resetting the Battery to Factory Set‐
tings via Bluetooth
®
(AP 300 S and
AP 500 S only)
Resetting the battery to the factory setting means
that all user-specific data will be deleted.
► Press the push button four (4) times in quick
succession and keep it pressed on the fourth
time until the "BLUETOOTH®“ LED next to
the symbol flashes blue.
► Then release the push button immediately.
► Connect the battery to the STIHL connected
App to confirm that all user-specific data has
been deleted.
13 Assembling the Blower
13.1 Mounting the Blower Tube
WARNING
■ Never operate your blower without a properly
mounted blower tube and nozzle, 6.6.4.
Use only attachments supplied or expressly
approved by STIHL, 8.1.
To mount the blower tube:

► Push the throttle cable clamp (2) onto the
elbow (1).
► Line up the positioning marks (4) and push the
pleated hose (3) onto the elbow (1).
► Push the throttle cable clamp (2) onto the
pleated hose (3).
► Line up the positioning marks (4) on the throt‐
tle cable clamp (2) and elbow (1).
The screw lug (6) should be on the underside
of the elbow/pleated hose.
► Secure the throttle cable clamp with the
screw (5).

► Push the throttle cable clamp (6) onto the
blower tube (7).
► Push the blower tube (7) into the pleated hose
(3).
The control handle (10) should be facing up.
► Push the throttle cable clamp (6) onto the
pleated hose (3).
The screw lug (9) should be on the underside
of the pleated hose/blower tube.
► Secure the throttle cable clamp with the
screw (8).

► Secure the throttle cable (11) in the throttle
cable clamp (12).
Once the blower tube is assembled, keep them
connected during use and storage.
13.2 Mounting and Removing the
Nozzle
WARNING
■ Never operate your blower without a properly
mounted blower tube and nozzle, 6.6.4.
Use only attachments supplied or expressly
approved by STIHL, 8.1.
To mount the nozzle:
► Extend the blower tube.
