5 USING THE MACHINE
5.1 Releasing the belt tension
1. Remove the locking pins (6:A) from both sides.
2. Open the quick connections by depressing their
rear sections with your heel. See fig. 10.
When the quick connections are
opened, the deck arms rest loosely in
the shaft sections. The deck must never
be set to the service position or washing
position without relocking the quick
connections after unhooking the deck
belt.
3. Carry out the necessary corrective action, e.g.:
• Unhook the belt.
• Replace the deck by unhooking the deck
arms. See fig. 11.
5.2 Tensioning the belt
First tension one side and then the other according
to the instructions below.
Do not turn the lever using your hands.
Risk of crushing injuries.
1. Carefully turn the lever (12:C) a half turn for-
wards.
2. Install the locking pin (6:A).
3. Carry out the above on the other side.
6 MAINTENANCE
Only applies to 4WD machines;
After every 50 hours of operation as well as after
every wash:
Lubricate the lubricating cup for the quick connec-
tion using a grease gun until grease penetrates
alongside the shaft. See fig 9.
