Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inappro-
priate. Intended use also includes observation of these instruc-
tions and of the instructions for any accessories used.
2.3 Appliance compatibility
– Note the manufacturing date of your system. The date of
manufacture must meet the minimum requirements. Other-
wise, your system is not designed for operation with the ISG
Connect.
– The ISG Connect is only compatible with systems whose
heat pump manager (WPM) is equipped with the minimum
software versions. If in doubt, consult our service depart-
ment.
– The Modbus TCP/IP software is installed on the ISG Connect
at the factory and can be used with compatible devices.
– Any FEK remote control installed must have at least soft-
ware version9506 or higher.

2.4 General safety instructions
– Only a qualified contractor should carry out installation,
commissioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.
– Safe use is not guaranteed if installation of the appliance is
incomplete. Only operate the appliance once installation is
complete. Only operate the appliance with the casing and
cover closed.
– We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliab-
ility only if original accessories and spare parts intended for
the appliance are used.
2.5 Data security
Security of your home network is your responsibility. We do not
recommend directly connecting the ISG Connect with the inter-
net.
To protect your personal and product-related data, we comply
with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

tions and instructions.
3 Appliance description
The InternetServiceGateway (ISG Connect) is a communication
interface between your heat pump/integral ventilation unit and
your home network or the internet. It enables the control of
these systems via mobile devices or a computer. If necessary,
these systems can also be controlled via the internet.
The ISG Connect provides access to the local SERVICEWELT web-
site for control in the home network. If the function is enabled,
heat pumps and integral ventilation units can be controlled via
the internet using the SERVICEWELT portal.

receiver for extended functions (SG Ready,
photovoltaic optimisation, etc.)
3.2 LEDs and LED statuses
Three LEDs on the front of the appliance indicate the status of
connections.
