Switching Between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C)
When the °C indicator is on, the temperature is displayed in Celsius (°C). When the °F indicator is on, the
temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit (°F).
To switch between units, follow these steps:

Setting the Over-Temperature Alarm
Protect your sample by setting a maximum temperature limit for the bath. This limit prevents the bath from
heating beyond a specified temperature.
To set the over-temperature alarm, follow these steps:
For example, if the current temperature is 37.0°C, you might set the over-temperature alarm limit to 90.0°C.

Press the Over-Temperature Alarm key to
enter the settings menu.
Set the desired over-temperature alarm
limit.
Press the Over-Temperature Alarm key
again to save the setting. The display will
show the current temperature or "OFF."
If the liquid temperature exceeds the set over-temperature alarm limit, the water bath will stop heating,
display a warning message, and sound an alarm. You can turn off the alarm by following one of these methods:
• Power Off: Turn off the power to stop the alarm. Restart the machine once the water temperature
falls below the over-temperature limit.
• Add Cold Water: Add cold water to lower the temperature below the alarm limit, which will turn off
the alarm.
• Adjust Alarm Limit: Increase the over-temperature alarm limit to above the current water
temperature to stop the alarm.
Setting the Countdown Timer
The countdown timer can be set from 0 to 99 hours and 59 minutes. When the countdown ends, an alarm will
sound three times, heating will stop, and “ ” will be displayed.
NOTE
• The countdown can only start when heating is active. If heating stops, the
countdown will pause.
• If heating is active when the timer value is saved, the countdown will start
immediately.
• If heating is inactive when the timer value is saved, press “Run/Stop” to start the
countdown.
