Calibration Instructions
Standard Calibration with Buttons
The calibration process can be performed using a single-point calibration method with either a 50 kg or 25
kg calibration weight.
1. Enter Calibration Mode:
o Ensure the scale is powered on.
o Press and hold the "CAL" button until the display enters calibration mode.
2. Calibrate with 50 kg:
o When the display shows CAL → internal code → 50.00KG, place a 50 kg calibration weight on
the scale.
o Wait until the display shows PASS, indicating that the calibration is complete.
3. Calibrate with 25 kg:
o After entering calibration mode (as above), the display will initially show 50.00KG.
o Press the "CAL" button again to switch to 25 kg calibration mode. The display will change to
25.00KG.
o Place a 25 kg calibration weight on the scale.
o Wait until the display shows PASS, indicating that the calibration is complete.
Calibration Without Buttons or Power Switch
If the buttons or power switch are not operational, follow these steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Prepare the Scale:
o Remove the battery from the device.
o Short-circuit the battery terminals (connect them briefly with a metallic conductor).
o Reinsert the battery to power on the device.
2. Enter Calibration Mode:
o Once powered on, the display will show 0.00.
o Remove the short-circuit connector immediately after 0.00 appears (you have 2 seconds to
perform this step before the display changes).
3. Perform Calibration:
o The display will show 50.00, indicating the required calibration weight.
o Place a single 50 kg calibration weight (do not use multiple smaller weights).
o Wait until the display shows PASS, confirming that the calibration is successful.
Notes:
• Always use accurate calibration weights for reliable results.
• Ensure the scale is placed on a stable and level surface during calibration.
• For best performance, avoid using makeshift weights or multiple smaller weights for calibration.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Always unplug the device before cleaning or putting it away.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried completely before using it again.
d) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
e) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
f) Do not allow water to get inside the device through vents in the housing of the device.
g) Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
h) The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
i) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
j) Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be used for a longer period of time.
k) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
