Read and keep the operang instrucons
This quick guide is part of the Steinbach solar lter system FXS38 - hereinaer also referred to as
„appliance“ or „lter system“. Read the instrucons carefully, especially the safety instrucons, before
using the appliance. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or damage to the appliance.
Keep the operang instrucons in a safe place for future use. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, be
sure to include these operang instrucons.
Intended use
This device is designed exclusively for the ltraon of pool water up to a maximum temperature of 35°C in ac-
cordance with the operang instrucons. The device can be operated with the PV panel included in the scope
of delivery or alternavely with the power supply unit available as an accessory.
It is intended exclusively for private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Only use the device as described in these operang instrucons. Any other use is considered improper and
may result in damage to property or even personal injury.
The appliance is not a children‘s toy.
The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

General safety instrucons
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock when operated with the oponally available power supply unit!
» When operang with mains voltage, only use the oponal power supply unit available as an accessory.
» Only connect the power supply unit of the circulaon pump to sockets that are protected by a standardised
30 mA RCD (residual current device).
» Do not operate the pump if it is visibly damaged, if there are people in the pool or if the mains cable or
mains plug is defecve.
» Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the mains cable, but always hold the mains plug.
Safety instrucons for persons
WARNING!
Hazards for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies (e.g. parally
disabled persons, elderly persons with reduced physical and mental capabilies) or lack of experience
and knowledge (e.g. older children).
Improper handling of the appliance can result in serious injury or damage to the appliance.
» Only allow others access to the appliance aer they have read and understood the instrucons in full or
have been informed of the intended use and the associated risks.
» Never allow persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies (e.g. children or intoxicated
persons) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. children) to use the appliance unsupervised.
» Never allow children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience
and knowledge to use the appliance.
» Do not allow children to carry out cleaning and user maintenance.
» Children must not play with the appliance or the connecng cable.
» Place the lter system at a sucient distance from the pool wall so that it cannot be used as a climbing aid.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to lack of qualicaon!
Lack of experience or skill in handling the required tools and lack of knowledge of regional or standardised
regulaons for the required manual work can result in serious injuries or damage to property.
» For work where you cannot assess the risks with sucient personal experience, commission a qualied
specialist.
» Do not operate the device in an impaired state (e.g. under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medicaon).
NOTE!
Improper handling of the device can lead to damage to the device.
» Select a locaon for the device that is protected from the weather.
