7.2.6 Sound control

This setting is only relevant if the device is not controlled via a DMX controller and

not working as a slave in a master/slave conguration.

The settings in sound mode are adopted if the device is controlled as ‘Slave 2’ by a

dierent SonicPulse device.

1. Press [Mode] to activate the main menu.

2. Press [Mode] or [Up]/[Down] until the display shows ‘Sound’ .

3. Press [Setup] to conrm the selection.

4. Press [Up]/[Down] to select the required submenu.

The following submenus are available:

Menu level 2 Menu level 3 Function

‘Pan’ ‘000’ … ‘255’ Species a xed pan angle.

‘Tilt’ ‘000’ … ‘255’ Species a xed tilt angle.

‘Mode’ ‘01’ … ‘02’ Selects a show between 01 and 02.

‘Sensitivity’ ‘0’ … ‘255(50)’ Adjusts the sensitivity of the built-in

microphone.

‘SerialNumber’ ‘001’ … ‘016’ Sets the position that the relevant

device assumes in the chain.

‘SubNumber’ ‘001’ … ‘016’ Sets the total number of

SonicPulse devices in a chain.

‘Frequency’ ‘001’ … ‘019’ Sets the frequency of the built-in

microphone.

‘Sound Fail’ ‘Black out’ Switches o sound control after the

music is turned o.

‘Continue eect’ Activates the most recently set show

after the music is turned o.

‘Motor Auto’ ‘On’ Turns automatic mode on.

‘O’ Turns automatic mode o. The head

remains in one position.

5. When the display shows the required value, press [Setup] to conrm the selec‐

tion.

The device follows the rhythm of the background music or sounds

detected by the built-in microphone.
