Before the next step, any additional attachments (e.g. outgoing cables) should already have
been installed! After the housing assembly is completed, open the cover and lay the cable loosely over the
terminal. Now approx. 340 mm of the cable’s sheath must be removed. Marking made previously aids in this
step.
After removing the sheath, the individual wires must be bent open and positioned in the designated cham-
bers of the clamp. The cable’s copper must be exposed at the corresponding contact points. For the 16 mm²
terminal, the stripped area must have a width of 18 to 23 mm. The 50 mm² terminal requires an open area of
21 to 26 mm. It is advantageous to have prior marking here as well.
