MAINTENANCE
Change the chain and bar
Loosen tension wheel (A). Remove chain cover (B) with
adjusting wheel together.
Fit the chain around the bar ensuring that the direction of
the chain is as depicted in the picture on the bar. Fit the
chain on the sprocket.
Guide bar maintenance
WARNING! Protective gloves must be worn.
When the guide bar shows signs of wear, turn it over on the
saw to distribute the wear for maximum bar life. Feathering or
burring of the bar rails is a normal process of bar wear.
You should smooth such faults with a le as soon as they
occur.

NOTE: Make sure cutting edges of chain are
facing in right direction. Make sure the tension
guide plate is facing outside.
