Text Sets the characters to be displayed on

the I

MD.

(Default value: Remote Specified)

 Remote Specified: The characters

specified in the TSL command are

displayed.

 SDI Source ID: Displays a string of

Source ID superimposed on the

VANC area of the SDI signal or

mapped to the ancillary data of the

IP stream.

 Manual: The set characters are

displayed. The characters can be

changed.

When “Manual” is selected

 Screen A(Single): Camera1

 Screen B: Camera2

 Screen C: Camera3

 Screen D: Camera4

Notes

 The maximum number of characters

that can be displayed in "Remote

Specified" is 16, and the maximum

number of characters that can be

displayed in "Manual" is 15.

 For the characters that can be

displayed when Remote Specified is

selected, see “IMD compatible

character list” (page 71).

 Only the characters in “How to Enter

Characters” (page 33) can be set

when Manual is selected.

on the IMD.
