Troubleshooting
Errors/Warnings
Check the following conditions if an error or warning appears on the [System Status] page after connecting the system.
Error and warning display items Solution
Control Unit Temperature Re-evaluate the installation location if the internal temperature becomes too high.
FAN Rotational Fan error. Contact your Sony service representative or dealer.
Word Clock
Frequency
The entered word clock frequency is incorrect. Check the system connections and settings.
If the problem persists, contact your Sony service representative or dealer.
CU ID Multiple control units have been assigned the same IP address. Check the system connections
and settings.
If the problem persists, contact your Sony service representative or dealer.
Active Speaker Connection There may be a problem with the connection between the control unit and the speaker unit. If
the problem persists after trying the following, contact your Sony service representative or
dealer.
When “Unstable” is displayed:
• Data loss may have occurred due to a deteriorated cable or low quality cable. Replace the
cable.
• Data loss may have occurred due to the effects of strong electromagnetic radiation. Make
sure the unit is a sufficient distance away from sources of electromagnetic radiation.
When “Invalid” is displayed:
• The cable may have been disconnected. Check the cable.
• A valid input sync signal may not have been connected. Check that there is a valid sync
signal connected to the control unit.
Power Source A power supply problem occurred. Check the system connections and settings.
If the problem persists, contact your Sony service representative or dealer.
Temperature Re-evaluate the installation location if the internal temperature becomes too high.
AMP Voltage An amplifier supply voltage error occurred. An error may be displayed temporarily depending
on the content being played.
If the error is displayed when playback is stopped, contact your Sony service representative or
dealer.
Icons under the
speaker unit number
There may be a problem with the condition of the speaker. Contact your Sony service
representative or dealer.
