Also, in video scenes with little or no motion, the bit rate temporarily decreases as encoding is
skipped, so the actual bit rate will also change depending on the content of the video (the
amount of image movement).
Therefore, make an initial estimate of bandwidth based on the codec, bandwidth, and
resolution for standard scenarios.

Typically, when sharing a screen displaying content, the throughput reduces when the
movement in the image is small. Conversely, when sharing a screen displaying a lot of
movement, such as a video, the throughput increases.
Installing an SSL certificate
An SSL certificate must be installed on the main unit/Pod in order to connect from a user device
to the main unit/Pod for Skype for Business operation.
1. Prepare a local DNS server.
2. Set the domain name on each main unit/Pod.
An independent domain or subdomain is required for each main unit/Pod.
3. Set the IP address and domain name of each main unit/Pod in the local DNS server.
4. Set the DNS server name on the local network gateway to which the main unit/Pod
belongs.
5. Obtain a domain server certificate from a public certificate authority or local certificate
authority.
When obtaining a server certificate, use an official certificate authority when using an
official certificate, or use a local certificate authority when using a local PKI certificate.
6. Set the obtained certificate in IIS on each main unit/Pod.
1. Open [Control Panel] > [Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager], and import the
SSL certificate using [Server Certificates].
2. On the [Connections] pane, select [Default Web Site]. In the IIS group, select [SSL
Settings] and open the [Site Bindings] dialog box.
3. Set the type to “https”, add port 443, and select the imported certificate.
7. Install the root certificate on the user device (if the domain server certificate was obtained
from a local certificate authority).
