Initial Setting
When you turn on the unit for the first time after
purchasing it, select the area and language
where you intend to use this unit from among
the options.
The initial setting may differ according to the
model you use.
The initial setting may be completed in
advance. In this case, the screens for the Area
Selection and the Language Setting will not be
displayed.
To set the using area

Turn on the unit.
The Area Setting screen appears.

Press the CONTROL button.

Press the or button to select the area
where you intend to use the unit and press
the button.

When the confirmation screen is displayed,
press the or button to select Yes and
pr
ess the CONTROL button.
The Area Setting screen disappears and the
Lang
uage Setting screen appears.
The following item in the menu is
aut
omatically applied to the value
corresponding to the selected area.
If you have selected the wrong area, change the
C
olor Temperature setting (page 29).
To set the using language
You can select one of six languages (English,
Japanese, Italian, Spanish, German, French) for
display on the menu and other on-screen
displays. The default menu language is set to
“English.”

On the Language Setting screen, press the
or button to select the desired language

nd press the button.

When the confirmation screen is displayed,
press the or button to select Yes and

ress the CONTROL button.
The menu changes to the selected language.
To change the menu language
Change the menu language on the menu screen.
For details, refer to “Language” (page 32) in the
“System Configuration” menu.
