9. T/B INPUT
Combo XLR / 1/4" Jack Input Sockets. Mic level (XLR) and Line-Level input (TRS).
A dedicate talkback input with Listen Mic Compressor (LMC). The LMC is engaged/disengaged via SSL 360°.
The Talkback input has a built-in preamp with 3 fixed gain settings to choose from via the SSL18 SSL 360° Mixer: 30/40/50 dB.
+48V can be engaged if your talkback microphone requires it.
Uniquely, the talkback input can be switched to LINE input mode (TRS jack connection), which is helpful if you want to use an external
talkback mic preamp or this can also be used for re-processing in sterile stems to processed for that classic smashed compression effect.

The 6 rear combo jacks accept Mic-level inputs (on XLR) and Line-level inputs (on TRS).
The pair of combo XLR/Jack inputs accepts Mic level (XLR) or Line-Level (TRS). Mic/Line switching can be done from the front panel or via
the SSL 18 Mixer software in SSL 360°.
