5. Place the strainer[1] into its intended recess
in the water kettle[3] and press it down and
outwards.
6. Release the downward pressure so that the
strainer[1] locks in place at the top inside
the recess.
Removing calcifications
Limescale reduces the efficiency of the product
and increases energy consumption. Check the
product regularly for limescale deposits.
1. Fill the water kettle[3] with a vinegar
solution (5 to 15 %).
2. Press down the on/off switch[9]. Wait for
the product to turn off automatically.
3. Let the solution remain in the water kettle[3]
overnight. Discard the solution on the next
day.
4. Fill the water kettle[3] with clear water up to
the MAX marking on the water gauge[4].
Boil the water.
5. After boiling, discard the water to remove
any remaining scale and vinegar.
6. Rinse the water kettle’s[3] interior
thoroughly with tap water.
Storage
o Store the product when it is not in use in its
original packaging.
o Store the product at a dry location out of the
reach of children.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a)
and numbers (b) with following
meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper
and fibreboard/80–98: composite
materials.

recyclable and are subject to extended producer

Dispose them separately, following the illustrated
Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste
treatment.
