Cleaning and storage
The product shall not be
exposed to any dripping or
splashing water.
Disconnect the product from
the power supply before
cleaning and when not in use.
Refer to the “Cleaning and
care” section for instructions
on how to clean the product.
Before first use
1. Remove all the packaging materials.
2. Clean the product (see “Cleaning and
care”).
3. Boil the maximum water volume of 1.7 litres
(see „Operation“). After boiling, discard
the water to remove any production and
transport residues.

CAUTION! Burn hazard! The lid[]
must remain closed when pouring hot water.
Otherwise, hot water or steam could escape
over the rim causing burns.
Placing the product
1. Keep the power cord[8] as short as
possible. Wrap the excess power cord
onto the cord storage[6]
(bottom of the
base[5]).
2. Guide the power cord[8] through the power
cord guide[7].
3. Place the base[5] on an even, stable
surface. Maintain a safe distance to walls
and cupboards to avoid damages caused
by rising steam.
Boiling water
NOTE: Fill in water at least until the MIN
marking and do not exceed the MAX
marking.
1. Open the lid[]: Press the lid release
button[].
2. Fill the water kettle[3] with cool, clear
water.
3. Place the water kettle[3] onto the base[5].
4. Press down the on/off switch[9]. The water
is boiled now.
5. The product automatically turns off when the
water is boiled.
6. Pour out the boiled water through the
spout[2].

WARNING! The product shall not be
immersed in water or other liquids. Do not
hold the product under running water.
Always disconnect the product from the
power supply before cleaning.
Check the product prior to each use for
visible signs of damage.
Cleaning
o Do not use any abrasive, aggressive
cleaners or hard brushes to clean the
product.
1. Clean the product with a slightly damp cloth.
Use a mild detergent, if necessary.
2. Rub all parts dry with a clean cloth.
Care
Cleaning the strainer
1. Open the lid[].
2. Press the strainer[1] down and inwards.
3. Pull the strainer[1] off upwards from the
water kettle[3].
4. Clean the strainer[1] with a moist dishcloth
under running water.
