7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ The motor unit4 and the power cable
with mains plug1 must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
~ Pull out the mains plug1 before clean-
ing.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear that you can
see the blades8 of the blade assem-
bly6 easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
~ All parts except for the motor unit4 are
dishwasher-safe up to 70 °C.
1. Pull the mains plug1 out of the wall
socket.
2. If necessary, repeatedly wipe down the
motor unit4 and the power cable1
with a damp cloth. Ensure that no water
or moisture gets into the device and that
the motor unit4 is completely dry be-
fore the next use.
3. The following accessory parts can be
washed by hand or in the dishwasher:
- the working cover5
- the container7
- the blade assembly6
- the anti-slip mat11
4. Let all parts dry completely before you
put them away or use the device again.
Cleaning advice
• Clean the device and all parts as soon
as possible after use in order to prevent
food remnants from drying on.
8. Storage
DANGER for children!
~ Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
DANGER!
~
In order to avoid accidents, the
mains
plug1
must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Wind the power cable1 loosely
around the motor unit4.
• Assemble the multi chopper for storage
purposes. This allows the blade assem-
bly6 to be stored safely.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
