Filling the bowl
Place the splash guard [8] onto the bowl [7]. The splash guard
should lock in place.
For water-soluble makeup products:
Add small amount (for example 4 g) of your preferred anti-
bacterial liquid soap into the bowl [7]. Alternatively, consult the
brush manufacturer for advice on the most suitable cleaning
agent (fig. C).
Add water to the bowl [7] until the liquid level reaches
approximately half of the bristles height of the brush to be
cleaned. Note the MAX marking on the bowl (fig. D).
For non-water-soluble makeup products:
Add 10 to 20 ml (depends on brush size) of makeup
brush cleaner into the bowl [7]. The liquid level should be
approximately equivalent to half of the bristles height of the
brush to be cleaned. Note the MAX marking on the bowl
(fig. D).
NOTE: The cleaning solution level can vary with different
types of cleaning agents (for example: soap solution and brush
cleanser). Consult the brush manufacturer for advice on the
most suitable cleaning agent and level.
