Before use
♦ Remove the protective film from the mirror
door 6.
♦ Clean the inside of the appliance as
described in the section Cleaning.
♦ Place the appliance on a stable surface.
Ensure that the appliance is positioned at a
sufficient distance from walls or other objects
to allow for air to circulate.
Selecting the power supply
ATTENTION!
► The appliance can be connected to
two types of power supplies: direct
current (12V) and alternating current
(220–240V). Make certain that the volt-
age of the power source matches the infor-
mation on the type plate of the appliance
before connecting the appliance to an outlet
or to the cigarette lighter.
Power supply with alternating
current
1) Insert the mains power cord t into the AC
connection socket 0 for alternating current
on the back of the appliance.
2) Insert the power plug into a correctly
installed and grounded mains outlet.
Power supply via vehicle adapter
1) Insert the power cord with vehicle adapter z
into the DC connection socket q for direct
current on the back of the appliance.
2) Start the engine of your vehicle.
3) Insert the vehicle adapter into the 12V
power supply socket (e.g. cigarette lighter)
of your vehicle.
