5. Charging
WARNING!
~ Due to the high power consumption, do
not charge the device through a lap-
top/ PC. Only charge the device via a
USB power adapter (1 A output current,
not included in the items supplied).
~ The device must not be covered while
the battery is charging.
~ The device must only be charged in a
dry environment and not near water.
NOTES:
• Charge the hair and beard trimmer5
for approx. 90 minutes before first use
(without cable).
• When the battery is almost flat, the plug
symbol11 flashes. The device can then
only be used for a short time without be-
ing connected to the power supply.
1. Place the device on a level surface.
2. Plug the USB-C plug connector of the USB
charger cable

into the USB-C
port

of the device.
3. Connect the USB-A plug of the USB
charger cable
13 with a USB power
adapter (min. 1 A output current, not in-
cluded in the items supplied).

is lit and the battery is
charged.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the
battery symbol10 flashes as well.
When the battery is fully charged, the
device can be used for approx.
60 minutes without being connected to
the power supply.
5. Disconnect the USB charger cable

from the device.
6. Operation

6.1 Changing the comb
attachments
Pushing on
• To attach the comb attachments
(1,2,3), insert the elongated ridges
into the two side openings in the trim-
mer attachment4. Then press the comb
attachment down as far as it will go.
Removing
• To remove, simply pull the comb attach-
ment off the hair and beard trimmer5.
6.2 Adjusting the cutting
length
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ Switch off the device before changing
the cutting length with the dial7.
You can set cutting lengths between 1 and
33 mm.
• Use the dial7 to change the cutting
length of the respective comb attach-
ment.
• The cutting lengths can be adjusted in
0.5 mm steps.
• Figure D + E: the set cutting length is
under the marking6 on the dial7. The
upper numbers apply to the comb at-
tachment3, the middle numbers to the
comb attachment2 and the lower num-
bers to the comb attachment1.
